  • General Counsel

    Solect Energy Development LLC (“Solect Energy” or “Company”) is seeking to add an enthusiastic, mission-driven attorney to fill the role of General Counsel. Continuing to scale the business in the Northeastern US market and achieve financial goals will require a General Counsel who can strengthen Solect Energy’s competitive positioning by providing best-in-class legal support to the CEO, functional leaders and board; leading legal diligence and streamlining the processes involved in contracting, reporting, and financing activity; achieving unquestioned compliance in all legal, regulatory and corporate governance matters. This individual will be engaged on a variety of C&I project development, finance, and asset management issues.   • Senior Design Engineer

    Responsibilities

    Solect Energy Development LLC has an opening for a Senior Design Engineer in Hopkinton, MA. Job duties include: Work with other internal design and engineering staff to create ground mount, solar canopy, and energy storage designs in AutoCAD, producing construction document sets, electrical single-line diagrams and project specific construction detail drawings; Create canopy, ground mount and new rooftop solar designs that conform to NEC codes and permitting requirements using AutoCAD.

    Qualifications

    • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related engineering field;
    • Requires two (2) years of experience as a Design Engineer, Project Engineer, or a related solar design role/capacity.
    • Requires NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification.
    • Requires 2 years of experience in C&I Solar PV design and engineering required; 1 year of experience in Energy Storage required; 2 years of experience creating electrical single-line diagrams; 2 years of experience creating point to point diagrams for storage and PV monitoring systems; 2 years of experience utilizing AutoCAD, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office; 2 years of experience multi-tasking and managing several project designs simultaneously with minimal management oversight; 2 years of experience interacting with clients and third-party design professionals; and 2 years of experience utilizing Helioscope.
    • Will also accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related engineering field and NABCEP PV Installation Professional Certification.
    • Domestic travel is required fifteen (15%) of the time throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
    • Remote work benefit available. Employee can work from anywhere in the U.S.
    • Annual salary: $124,904.00 – $131,000.00.
