    Responsibilities

     

    • As a Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our contract management workflow while mitigating risks and fostering positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners
    • Lead negotiations with counterparties and manage legal agreements covering a wide range of transactions, especially customer facing solar power purchase agreement, site leases, purchase and installation agreements, and custom service agreements
    • Collaborate with the business development and legal teams to make the contract management workflow effective and efficient, including 1.) administration of a database of contract templates and work requests and 2.) appropriate resource allocation based on deal priority and deadlines
    • Continually evaluate opportunities to shorten contracting cycles and improved contract templates
    • Develop strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and educate the business development teams on key contract terms in the various templates and the company’s document execution policy
    • Mitigate common contract management risks in the areas of finance, legal, and insurance
    • Create and maintain relationships with subcontractors/suppliers and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning contracts
    • Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress

  • Solar Regulatory and Development Specialist

    Overview

    This position is integral to the Construction Services Group. The focus is supporting the business’s Development, Regulatory, and Asset Management parts by working with the utilities and customers on interconnection documents, securing incentives, submitting permit applications, and organizing the development phase of complex projects.

     

    Key Functions

     

    • Understand, prepare, and submit documents in MA, RI, CT, ME, PA, NY & NJ, and potentially other states for solar and energy storage incentives, including following through with approvals.
    • Research and monitor new and existing State and Government incentive programs.
    • Be familiar with all aspects of Regulations and be the liaison between agencies and the Business Development Team.
    • Monitor incentive expirations and file extensions as necessary.
    • Work with various state Incentive program staff and customers frequently on complex issues or problem resolution on billing.
    • Once a project is complete, gather and submit final documents to the utility or state agency for payment.
    • Serve as a support system to the regulatory team to file interconnection applications and completion documents.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
    • 1+ years of C&I Solar PV Experience.
    • Experience working with utilities and state agencies preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Applications, and Salesforce is required.
    • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail is required.
    • Professional and personable demeanor and willingness to interact frequently with internal resources, clients, and regulatory officials.
